Spooktacular fun with Hotel Transylvania

by Kym - Divine Finds on January 16, 2013 · 89 comments

We are on the home stretch for the school holidays now. Very soon will be the exciting first day of school (or Kindy in our case) for the kids and a chance for the all the parents to catch up on all those things that need to be done without kids around!

Until then, there is still plenty of entertaining to be done and to lend a hand in the entertainment department is one of the latest release animation movies, and is sure to be a hit with the kids, Hotel Transylvania.

Hotel Transylvania

“Welcome to Hotel Transylvania Dracula’s lavish five-stake resort where monsters and their families can live it up and no humans are allowed. One special weekend Dracula (Adam Sandler) has invited all his best friends Frankenstein and his wife the Mummy the Invisible Man the Werewolf family and more to celebrate his beloved daughter Mavis’s (Selena Gomez) 118th birthday. For Dracula catering to all of these legendary monsters is no problem but the party really starts when one ordinary guy stumbles into the hotel and changes everything!”

You can check out the video below if you want to see the trailer too…..

In addition to the movie, to celebrate the launch of Hotel Transylvania on Blu-ray and DVD (on January 17), Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has created a monster-sized Activity Pack to help keep little monsters occupied during school holidays.

The monster-size activity pack includes a week of monster-minded activities including:

  • Frankencookie recipe
  • Meaty Monster Burger recipe
  • Make your own Dracula mask template
  • Monster colouring in sheet
  • Hotel Transylvania Noughts and Crosses game
  • Monster Maze
